Hannah attained a PhD in infectious disease epidemiology under the supervision of Associate Professor Helen Petousis-Harris, Dr Anna Howe and Dr Emma Best.

Her research investigated pertussis vaccination failure in infants and young children and aims to identify predictors of this failure.
